The Language Club consisted of faculty members from the language departments as well as other liberal arts departments. Meetings included a presentation by one or two club members or guests, generally on topics of literature or the arts, followed by a group discussion of the presentation, reports on language association meetings members had attended, and discussion of departmental issues.
